In the year 2000, the first commercial system was converted to receive Clean CT-01™ ongoing treatment for their boiler, chilled water and cooling tower loops. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation building was already 26 years old at this time, and the air-conditioning piping system needed to be replaced – so the management thought given the huge inefficiencies of the cooling system and almost totally plugged up pipes.
As a last attempt to save the system, Clean CT-01™ ongoing treatment was introduced which succeeded to give the chilled water system another 8 years of life – until the whole building was finally taken down in 2008.
